Cardstock: additional information
Colored design cardstock is thick multi-layered paper that is used in various types of arts and crafts. Fabrika Decoru online store offers design cardstock of different density, mostly from 180 to 300 g.m2.
As a rule, colored design cardstock is used for decorating photo albums, creating layouts and colored inserts, making invitations and envelopes, gift packaging and small boxes for small presents. Use glossy metallic or pearl colored cardstock to create photo pockets, die cut or emboss different shapes. These shapes can be further used to embellish photo albums, planners, envelopes or greeting cards. Using colored cardstock, you can easily create a base for a greeting card or invitation by folding a sheet in half, and then embellish such blank using small contrasting decorative elements - chipboards, die cuts, images cut out from vellum or image overlays, such as feathers, watches, locks or hearts.
Remember that high-quality colored cardstock when scoring and folding does not break, in addition, high-quality design cardstock is painted over to its full depth.
