Chalk paints - application

Chalk paint refers to versatile materials, modern and easy to work with. Water-soluble acrylic adheres well to almost any surface, from paper and fabric to metal, natural stone and wood. To create the effect of aging or Provencal flavor, it is enough to apply 1-2 coats of paint.

Stages of applying:

• Clean the surface of dirt and dust with a brush, a damp sponge.

• Mix the paint, if necessary, dilute with water (no more than 1/10 of the volume).
  
• Apply paint with a brush, roller, sponge or palette knife, depending on the chosen technique.
  

Tools, containers and stains on the fabric are washed away with water. Chalk paint does not like contact with moisture; wax and acrylic varnish are suitable as protection.
