Shabby Chic Birthday Card TUTORIAL by Karolina Czołba

Today Im sharing with you a shabby chic birthday card . To create this card I used one of my favorite collection Sensual Love. I like this collection because its full of beautiful elements for fussy cutting and its sheets are in contrasting colors and patterns.

Сегодня я покажу шебби открытку. Для создания которой одну из моих любимых коллекций Sensual Love. Я люблю эту коллекцию, так как в ней есть большое количество шикарных элементов для вырезания, а листы отличаются контрастом и паттернами.


I started with gluing two layers of paper. I used glue for the first later and double sided foam adhesive tape for second layer to add more three - dimensional look. In this whole project Im using both glue and tape. Next I fussy cut some beautiful roses, leafs and butterfly because I wanted to make a composition with them.

I used two stencils with white  modeling texture paste  to add more interest to my background.  Modeling paste is very easy to use and it dries fast.

There is a huge amount of different types of chipboards in FD store and I used two for this project. First one is a round openwork shape and the second is a Happy Birthday sentiment. The most amazing thing about the chipboards is the fact that you can choose the color of it. It can be golden it can be silver and more.

To add more vibrant colors to my card I used amazing dry paint with effect Turquoise with gold. You can use this paints with paper, chipboards and even  fabric. What you have to do to see the magic is sprinkle a bit of dry paint on paper and add water to make reaction. It really looks like magic.

I like the shiny look so I added two colors of glitter. First I painted the embellishments with glue and than I sprinkled them with glitter.

At the end I used white primer with water to add dome small splashes.

Я начала с склеивания двух слоев бумаги. Я использовала клей для первого слоя, а потом -   двухсторонний скотчы для второго слоя, чтобы добавить объем. Во всем этом проекте я использую как клей, так и скотч. Затем я вырезала несколько красивых роз, листьев и бабочек.
Я использовала два трафарета с белой моделирующей пастой, чтобы добавить больше интереса к моему фону. Паста очень проста в использовании и быстро высыхает.
В магазине Фабрики декору есть огромное количество различных чипбордов, и я использовала два для этого проекта. Первый - это круг, а второй - надпись С днем рождения. Самое удивительное в отношении чипборда - это тот факт, что вы можете выбрать его цвет. Это может быть золотой, это может быть серебро и многое другое.

Чтобы добавить более яркие цвета к моей открытке, я использовала удивительную сухую краску с эффектом Бирюзовый с золотом. Вы можете использовать эту краску с бумагой, чипбордом и даже тканями. То, что вам нужно сделать, чтобы увидеть волшебство, - посыпать немного сухой краски на бумаге и добавить воду для реакции. Это действительно похоже на волшебство.
Мне нравится блестящий вид, поэтому я добавила два цвета блеска. 
В конце я использовал белый грунт с водой, чтобы добавить мелкие брызги.
