Let’s what Yulia tells about her project: “Despite the fact that it is already autumnal outside and there are a lot of autumn projects in social media, I want to share my floral inspiration made of the materials by TM Fabrika Decoru.
A photo frame is a great thing to be used as a home décor. Interior alter scrap is so versatile. You can arrange your favorite photos into a laconic completed object, convey the mood and emotions in details.
Its format is 265x204x150 mm. I quickly assembled a blank made of 3 mm sick fiberboard. It was so easy to do! I did not prime the surface and decided to start painting right away.
I want to pay your attention to the surface of the photo frame. I used rustic and shabby velour paints combining calm green and brown shades. At the end I added a few touches with metallic paints.
On the following photos, you can admire all the particles of rustic and velour paints.
I designed two round photo frames, placing them opposite each other. By the way, one photo is black and white, with my wedding bouquet, and the other is processed to get a slight vintage look.
To embellish my photo frame, I took the collections "Say Yes" and "Sentimental story" with beautiful watercolor flowers and twigs. I also added the butterflies from the sets for cutting out.
It is very easy to build multi-layered compositions with foiled leaves and die cuts from the collections.
I covered the entire chipboard with paints, choosing the shades which compliment paper collections.
I also "played" with liquid pearls, leaving some beautiful pearl droplets in some places In the end, I added shadows and accents with dry magic paints.
To be honest, I really like the result. The process itself was not so much complicated but it was fascinating and unpredictable. “
Happy crafting to you!
