Methods of paint application:
Free painting: the free painting technique is performed with brushes. It can be compared to the technique of painting with acrylic or gouache paints. You can reproduce any pattern you like on the fabric. To do this, draw a contour with chalk, a special marker, or a simple pencil. Then you can start painting. It should be noted that the paints evenly lie on a smooth, light and dense surface. If you want to apply the image on a dark fabric - first be sure to cover the place of application with white paint, dry it and only then start painting.
Painting through a stencil: use a stencil brush, foam sponge or roller to apply paint through the stencil. For optimal results, the stencil should fit tightly to the fabric. To do this, apply a thin layer of Liquid Adhesive on the back of the stencil and wait until the adhesive layer becomes transparent. That's all, you can fix the stencil on any fabric and not worry that the paint will go beyond the contours. Apply the paint in a thin layer, following the contour of the pattern and do not allow the paint to seep under the stencil.
Using a stamp: transfer the paint pattern to the fabric using a stamp. Apply the paint evenly on the stamp with a sponge or roller and then press the stamp to the fabric. For best results, rinse the stamp with hot water and dry between applications. When applying a new layer of paint, make sure that the previous layer is completely dry.
To fix the colors on the fabric, dry the fabric with the printed image for 24 hours. After that, iron on the reverse side of the pattern without steam for 5 minutes at the temperature recommended for the selected fabric. You can wash in delicate mode with mild detergents 48 hours after ironing, at a temperature from +30C to +40C, without pre-soaking.
